More than simply being shy, I had almost forgotten that insecurity all but defined the snow woman. I blinked as I tried to process the sudden shift in her tone and her expression, then I had to check myself from slapping my forehead. Her eyes darkened and she looked down contritely. It seemed my expression had darkened slightly as I mused, since Akitsu flinched slightly as she caught my frown. “Shirou-sama?” My focus snapped back to the woman currently in front of me, her eyes open again with that soft light.

In short, I had no idea how to “deflower a virgin.” Although there were many red-blooded men who would sear every detail of that act alone into their souls, most of my attention was taken up with being convinced - verbally - by Rin to stop dancing around the issue and just jam it in. There was also the fact that Rin was the one to take charge of relaxing Saber enough for the ritual. That fateful night Saber, Rin, and myself were on the run from Berserker, the sheer terror we were feeling overshadowed much of the experience so that I couldn’t remember many of the steps that took place before the act itself. On one hand, if this was the norm amongst my flock then I could feel a little bit safer in the house they may “talk the talk” as they say, but not be as willing to “walk the walk.” On the other hand, I honestly had no experiences for this sort of situation. It seemed that for all her interest in Matsu’s little traps and her taste in sleepwear might suggest, the snow woman was very uncomfortable with sexuality, or at least with the focus she was being subjected to. My frown grew as we repeated this several times before I broke off contact and leaned back once more. I tilted my head in an attempt to recapture her focus but she again moved her eyes away from my own. Curious, I dipped my head and met her gaze only to have her switch to staring in the opposite direction. At the absence of further contact, she slowly raised her head and met my eyes, only to blush even deeper and avert them to the side as she caught me watching her. I leaned back into my own sitting position and frowned slightly. Her arms hadn’t even moved from their positions behind her back. I felt no twitching, no shuddering from her. Through it all my sekirei stoically maintained her current kneeling position. Again and again, I trail kisses along her jaw line up to her ear. I leaned in again, but this time I simply dusted my lips against the side of her mouth before I broke contact, following the action shortly with another peck against her cheek. Opening my eyes I noticed hers had fallen shut, and even though it had been the most chaste kiss we had shared since that day at the park, the blush that erupted on her cheeks was almost luminous. But I still felt the pull of my magic even as I pulled back until our noses were just barely touching. It was a light touch, not even as deep as the ones that had taken place as part of my experiments. This time I was the one to close my eyes first before our lips made contact. I smiled gently as I brushed a thumb across her cheek and leaned forward. They still appeared as cold as ice, however. They were bright, a soft light shining in their depths as she met my gaze with her own. Neither were they the glassy stare I had recently become acquainted with as she recovered from our earlier, repeated experiments. They weren’t the eyes with which I had always seen my snow woman look upon the world with apathy. Her eyes, however, had a softer look to them. Akitsu met my unflinching stare, her face as impassive as always. Slowly, giving her a final chance to reconsider, I gently cupped her cheek with my hand. For her, it was permission to entertain hopes she had kept long buried. For me, it was permission to proceed with my experiment. It was a shy whisper that gave permission. “In Flight” is creative-commons (probably) by Mr. Much of this fic will not make sense if you have not read the story, i strongly suggest you do so now +_+ĭisclaimer: “Sekirei” and “Fate/stay night” are owned by Sakurako Gokurakuin and Kinoko Nasu, respectively.
